Salina Public Schools closes Heartland Early Education Friday due to weather
Other district summer programs and food locations remain open
SALINA — Salina Public Schools will close its Heartland Early Education facility and the location's summer food program on Friday due to ongoing weather impacts.
All other USD 305 summer school programs, summer food locations, the Salina Adult Education Center and the district office will remain open and operate on their normal schedules.
The district is monitoring conditions and will release further information on a day-by-day basis, according to Communications Director Olivia Opat.
