Officer Melissa 'Petey' Short-Eshleman recognized for service to the city
SALINA, Kan. — The city of Salina is honoring Officer Melissa "Petey" Short-Eshleman for her long-term commitment to public safety after she reached a 10 year career anniversary with the Salina Police Department. Officials publicly thanked the veteran law enforcement officer for her dedication and service to the central Kansas community. The Salina Police Department employs dozens of sworn officers serving a city of nearly 47,000 residents.
