Road closure to affect northbound lane on Severance in Hutchinson

HUTCHINSON, Kan. — A northbound lane on Severance Street between 3rd Avenue and 4th Avenue will close Monday for approximately two weeks to allow road repair work, city officials announced.
The closure begins May 11, 2026, at 10 a.m. During that time, northbound motorists will be detoured east on 3rd Avenue, north on Lorraine Street and west on 4th Avenue back to Severance.
Officials are encouraging motorists to use caution in the area and allow extra travel time.
