Resource Council Seeks Support for Christmas Food Program
Program to Serve 659 Individuals; Monetary Donations Still Needed
The McPherson Resource Council is raising funds to support its annual Christmas Food Program, which will serve 659 individuals in McPherson County this year.
With distribution scheduled for December 20th, the organization is seeking community support to ensure all recipients receive food bags for the holiday season. The program relies on donations, with 100% of funds going directly toward purchasing food items.
Community members have multiple convenient ways to contribute to the program.
Tax-deductible donations can be made online through the McPherson County Community Foundation at https://mccf.fcsuite.com/erp/donate/create/fund. This secure platform allows donors to contribute from anywhere at any time.
Those preferring to donate by check can mail contributions to the McPherson County Community Foundation at 1233 N. Main, McPherson, KS. Checks can also be dropped off in person at the same location during business hours.
With 659 individuals counting on assistance this year, the Resource Council emphasizes that donations of any amount make a meaningful difference in the community.
