Below are the unedited responses from Reno County Clerk Jenna Fager.
Was voter turnout higher or lower than the previous election? In your opinion, why?
Turnout was a bit higher than previous school elections. I believe it was due to having multiple candidates in some races as well as having a bond election on the ballot.
Are there any differences in election operations people should expect for the next election that may affect voter turnout?
The only change we plan on having next year from previous years is the three-day grace period for advance mail ballots will no longer exist.
Is there anything else you would like the public to know?
The election results are never final until after canvass, and we take great care to make sure that every ballot that can be legally counted is included in the canvass.
