The day kicks off with Wisdom in Motion and Hutch in Harmony hosting the "Equipped to Learn" supply drive from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Southwest Bricktown Park and the Wisdom in Motion office. The morning event will provide local families with hundreds of free backpacks stocked with USD 308-approved supplies. The giveaway also features hot dogs, face painting and bounce houses for children.
Later in the afternoon, Foundation of Life Ministries and Hope Reno County will host the annual Back to School Rally from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Salthawk Activity Center, located on the Hutchinson High School campus.
