Pumpkin Pants Ranch to Host Chuckwagon Dinner and Barn Dance Next Saturday
ARKANSAS CITY, Kan. — Pumpkin Pants Ranch will host an authentic chuckwagon dinner and barn dance next Saturday, offering Cowley County residents and visitors a taste of the Old West close to home, according to the Cowley County Economic Development Partnership.
According to a June 18 post on the Cowley County Economic Development Partnership's official Facebook page, the event is scheduled for Saturday, June 27. Dinner will be served from 6 to 7 p.m., followed by a barn dance with line dance instruction from 7 to 10 p.m.
The dinner menu features brisket, bunkhouse beans and biscuits, all cooked over an open fire. Guests will also have the opportunity to explore the ranch and take in the Kansas sunset.
Tickets for dinner, which includes admission to the barn dance, are $40. Those who wish to attend only the barn dance may purchase tickets for $5 online or $7 at the gate.
"This is exactly the kind of local experience that makes our community special," the Cowley County Economic Development Partnership said in the post. "Support local tourism, local agriculture, and local entertainment all in one evening."
Dinner seats are limited. Tickets are available online at simpletix.com.
