Pudden Bridge Project Hits Key Milestones as Construction Advances

COWLEY COUNTY, Kan. — Construction on the Pudden Bridge site continued to advance last week as crews completed several major structural milestones, Cowley County officials announced Thursday.

Bridges Inc. formed, placed steel and poured concrete for abutments No. 1 and No. 2, and completed concrete work for pier caps No. 1 and No. 2.

Work scheduled for the coming days includes removing formwork, conducting erection elevation checks and beginning construction of the falsework that will support the bridge deck.

Kirkham Michael is providing engineering support and project coordination on the infrastructure project.

"Projects like this take a lot of collaboration, and we appreciate everyone helping make this happen," county officials said.
