HUTCHINSON — Hutchinson police officers issued 93 citations during the department's recent "Click It or Ticket" enforcement campaign.

Officers used overtime saturation patrols to target drivers violating Kansas occupant restraint, texting and impaired driving laws. During the campaign, police made 227 traffic stops, resulting in 93 citations and 139 warnings.

Officers recorded 232 violations during the specialized enforcement period, which aims to increase seatbelt usage and reduce roadway injuries.
