Planning Commission to Consider New Administrator, Floodplain Rules
Board will vote on Alexis Dargiewicz to replace interim administrator and hear public input on flood insurance regulations.
MCPHERSON, Kan. — The McPherson Planning Commission and Board of Zoning Appeals will meet Tuesday to vote on appointing Alexis Dargiewicz as the new planning and zoning administrator, replacing interim administrator Eric Duerksen, and to hold a public hearing on revised floodplain management regulations aimed at maintaining the city's Class 8 Community Rating System status that provides residents with discounted flood insurance premiums. The board will also consider a request from Kansas Municipal Utilities to replat property at 2090 E. Ave. A near the McPherson College baseball complex to correct a previous platting error.
