Officers responded to a reported disturbance at the park, located at 100 E. Ave. B, around 4:16 p.m. Thursday. Police learned that someone had been stabbed and located the injured person near the intersection of Avenue A and Walnut Street.
Reno County EMS transported the victim to Hutchinson Regional Medical Center. The individual was listed in serious but stable condition and is expected to make a full recovery, according to the Hutchinson Police Department. Authorities stated that they do not believe there is an ongoing danger to the general public.
