Park Department seeks volunteers for holiday light takedown
Community cleanup begins Dec. 29 at Lakeside Park
MCPHERSON, Kan. – The McPherson Park Department is requesting volunteer assistance to remove community holiday light displays beginning Monday, Dec. 29. City officials are asking individuals, families and service groups to help disassemble lights, organize materials and prepare decorations for storage. Volunteers should meet at the Lakeside Park Maintenance Shop for morning or afternoon shifts and are advised to bring gloves and weather-appropriate clothing, while the city will provide all necessary tools and guidance.
