Pretty Prairie Streets to Close for Repaving Work Starting June 12

PRETTY PRAIRIE, Kan. — Several residential streets in Pretty Prairie will be temporarily closed beginning June 12 for a repaving project expected to last three to five business days.

The construction work will affect North and South Collingwood streets, along with the 300 blocks of South Elm Street and South Ash Street. City officials are asking residents to remove all vehicles from the affected streets during the construction period to allow crews to complete the work safely and efficiently.

If the project extends into next week, residents in the construction zones should place their trash and recycling containers on the nearest side street by Tuesday evening to ensure collection services can continue without interruption.

City officials expressed appreciation for residents' cooperation and patience during the street improvements, which are part of ongoing infrastructure maintenance efforts in the community.
