Nine Bullpups earn AVCTL D III baseball all-league honors

MCPHERSON, Kan. — Nine McPherson Bullpups were recognized on the 2026 AVCTL Division III all-league varsity boys baseball team, as announced May 29. Junior Carter Bengtson earned first-team shortstop honors, sophomore Graham Prescott landed on the first-team outfield, and senior Cade Strathman was named first-team third base and second-team pitcher, while junior Cru Buchman was tabbed first-team designated hitter and second-team pitcher; junior Brady Rinker received second-team first base, junior Nolan Pearcy second-team outfield, senior Cown Huggard honorable mention third base and utility, junior Adrian Unruh honorable mention second base, and junior Takoda Linn honorable mention outfield.
