New Bridge Opens on Fox Fire Trail at Deerfield Park
Volunteer team led by Kurt Wagner completes construction project for local mountain bike enthusiasts.
MCPHERSON, Kan. — A new bridge has opened on the Fox Fire addition of the Single Track Trails at Deerfield Park and Avenue A, thanks to the efforts of Kurt Wagner and his team of volunteer trail builders. The McPherson Parks Department announced the completion of the project, which enhances the trail system for both cyclists and pedestrians. The Fox Fire trail, part of the city's expanding network of recreational paths, is now ready for public use.
