MS Boys Tennis Takes 2nd at Valley Center
McPherson middle school boys tennis earns runner-up finish at Valley Center Invitational.
VALLEY CENTER, Kan. — The McPherson middle school boys tennis team placed second at the Valley Center Invitational, getting strong performances across the singles and doubles lineups.
In singles, Jensen Hoover and Jordan Reno each went 5-0 to claim first-place finishes, while Baron Brown went 3-2 for third and Cy Stucky finished 2-1 for third. In doubles, the No. 1 team of Cooper Hicks and Tanner Tully went 3-2 for third, Charlie Gustafson and Enzo Schoming also went 3-2 for third, Brekken Rothrock and Kameron Sharp finished 2-2 for third, and Luke Bocox and Lucas Hutchinson went 1-1 for second.
