MS Boys Tennis Sweeps Ark City 11-0
McPherson middle school boys tennis dominates in singles and doubles against Arkansas City.
MCPHERSON, Kan. — The McPherson middle school boys tennis team swept Arkansas City 11-0 on Wednesday, winning all seven singles matches and all four doubles matches without dropping a set.
Baron Brown, Cooper Hicks, Tanner Tully, Jordan Reno, Enzo Schoming, Charlie Gustafson and Brecken Rothrock each posted singles victories, with Hicks, Tully and Reno all winning 6-0. In doubles, the No. 1 team of Tully and Hicks and the No. 3 team of Schoming and Rothrock each won 6-0, while Gustafson and Schoming won 6-3 at No. 2 and Stucky and Sharp closed it out with a 6-4 win at No. 4.
