Wildcats pick up a pair of wins, eye postseason run
The Moundridge Wildcats picked up a pair of wins this week, continuing to build on what has been an impressive season.
On Thursday night, the Wildcats dominated Hutchinson Trinity 54-25 in a lopsided affair that was never really in doubt. Moundridge controlled the game from start to finish, holding the Celtics to just 25 points in the blowout victory.
The Wildcats kept the momentum rolling into Friday, topping Remington 74-51 in a higher-scoring contest. Moundridge again proved too much to handle, pulling away for the comfortable 23-point win.
With the two victories, the Wildcats improve to 19-3 on the season, firmly establishing themselves as one of the teams to watch as the postseason approaches.
