Moundridge Dominates Bennington in 52-20 Victory

MOUNDRIDGE — The Moundridge Wildcats overwhelmed Bennington on Tuesday night, cruising to a 52-20 victory behind balanced scoring and a suffocating defensive effort.

Lutz led all scorers with 15 points for Moundridge, while Burge and Churchill each added 10 points in the winning effort. Kanitz contributed 6 points, and Shahan chipped in 6 as well.

The victory improves Moundridge's record to a perfect 8-0 on the season. The undefeated Wildcats will face their biggest test yet on Friday when they travel to take on Sterling, who also enters the matchup undefeated. A showdown between the two unblemished teams and a rematch of the previous years State Championship game.
