Moundridge Cruises Past Ell-Saline 65-47
Wildcats Improve to 15-3 with Balanced Offensive Attack
The Moundridge Wildcats continued their strong season Tuesday night with a 65-47 victory at Ell-Saline. The Wildcats controlled the game from start to finish, building a substantial lead and cruising to the 18-point win.
Schmidt led Moundridge with 16 points, while Shahan added 14 points in the balanced offensive attack. Burge contributed 13 points and Lutz chipped in 11 as the Wildcats placed four players in double figures. Churchill added seven points and Kanitz contributed four. The Wildcats' efficient offense and defensive pressure proved too much for the Cardinals to overcome.
The victory keeps Moundridge's momentum rolling as they continue their impressive campaign. The Wildcats will travel to Inman on Friday for their next contest as they look to extend their winning ways.
