Moundridge Boys Roll to 3-0 Start
Wildcats Defeat Lyons 34-75
The Moundridge Wildcats boys basketball team continued their perfect start to the season, improving to 3-0 with a commanding 75-34 victory over Lyons in early season action.
The Wildcats dominated from the opening tip, building a 20-10 lead after the first quarter and extending their advantage to 40-20 by halftime. Moundridge maintained control throughout the second half, outscoring Lyons 30-10 in the third quarter to put the game away.
Emmett Shahan once again led the Wildcats' balanced offensive attack with 24 points, continuing his strong early-season performance.
Jacob Lutz added 12 points, while Isaac Schmidt contributed 10 points to the winning effort. Hunter Churchill scored 18 points.
With three wins already under their belt, the Wildcats will look to extend their winning streak when they host Hillsboro on Thursday in their next matchup.
