MMS Tennis Rolls Past Prairie Hills 12-6
McPherson middle school netters dominate singles and doubles in dual victory.
MCPHERSON, Kan. — McPherson Middle School tennis topped Prairie Hills 12-6 in a dual, winning seven of 12 singles matches and five of six doubles matches.
Singles winners for McPherson were Cooper Hicks (6-0), Jensen Hoover (6-4), Tanner Tully (6-5), Charlie Gustafson (6-3), Enzo Schoming (6-4), Jordan Reno (6-0) and Kameron Sharp (6-4). Prairie Hills picked up singles wins from Hudson Kendrick, Elijah Simon, Brock McClintock, Zach Nelson and Kellen Comer.
In doubles, the teams of Tully/Hicks (6-2), Hoover/Brown (6-4), Reno/Rothrock (6-2), Sharp/Stucky (6-3) and Hutchinson/Bocox (6-3) all won for McPherson, while Prairie Hills' Kimble/Alexander earned the lone doubles victory at No. 3, 6-5.
