MMS Bullpups Wrestlers Sweep Dual Meets Over Winfield, Mulvane

The McPherson Middle School wrestling team continued its strong season with convincing victories over Winfield 54-39 and Mulvane 62-36 on Wednesday night. The Bullpups demonstrated their depth across multiple weight classes, with ten varsity wrestlers posting perfect 2-0 records and several junior varsity grapplers also earning victories in both matches.

Leading the varsity squad with undefeated performances were Kaiden Brown, Eli Brown, Trace Dearing, Mark Montgomery, Dalton VanEaton, Tatem Schulz, Bentley Pfeiff, Towns DeLaney, and Brendyn Nestor, all of whom won both of their matches. Gavin Williams and Zaybrieon Green each split their matches with 1-1 records, while Zakiyas Perkins also went 1-1 on the evening. The consistent performances from the Bullpups' lineup allowed McPherson to outscore their opponents by a combined margin of 116-75.

The junior varsity squad also contributed strong performances, with Caysen Huber, Eli Barnett, and Eddie Koehn each earning 2-0 records. Xavier Hartinger and Ronin Pryzmus both finished 1-1 in their matches.
