Lady Pups Outscore Opponents 788-122, Capture Patriot League Title
The McPherson Middle School 7th grade girls basketball team completed a perfect season, finishing 14-0 while dominating opponents on both ends of the floor.
The Lady Pups outscored their opponents 788-122 in total this season, averaging 56.3 points per game while allowing only 8.7. The dominant performance resulted in an average winning margin of 47.6 points per game.
The team's impressive run culminated with a Patriot League Tournament championship, which proved even more remarkable as they captured the title despite missing two starters in the championship game.
The combination of offensive firepower and suffocating defense made the 7th grade Lady Pups nearly unstoppable throughout the season. The team's ability to maintain their dominance even when short-handed in the tournament final demonstrated the depth and resilience of the squad.
