MHS Girls Soccer Rolls Newton in Invitational Opener
Allison Randa's hat trick powers Bullpups to 6-0 rout in 20th annual tournament.
MCPHERSON, Kan. — Allison Randa scored three goals and Grace Prescott dished out three assists as the McPherson High School girls soccer team blanked Newton 6-0 in the opening round of the 20th annual McPherson Invitational on Monday. Grace Prescott, Addison Shaft and Becca Lulloff each added a goal, while Brodie Kuhn contributed an assist and goalkeeper Ellie Herrera made nine saves to preserve the shutout. McPherson, which put 16 shots on goal, advances to play Valley Center in the semifinal round Tonight at 7 p.m.
