McPherson Schools to Host Parent Meeting for Fall Athletics
All families encouraged to attend Aug. 14 information session
MCPHERSON – McPherson USD 418 will host its annual parent meeting for grades 7-12 athletics on Wednesday, August 14, beginning with an all-sports general session at 6:00 p.m. in the MHS Theater, followed by fall sport-specific breakout sessions at 6:30 p.m. in designated rooms at the high school. Activities Director Shane Backhus will welcome Bullpup families and share relevant athletic guidelines and updates before parents transition to meetings specific to their student's fall sport, including high school boys soccer, cross country, girls golf, girls tennis, football and volleyball, as well as middle school cross country, girls tennis, football and volleyball. Parents are encouraged to mark their calendars for this important informational meeting, and those with questions may contact Backhus at shane.backhus@mcpherson.com.
