McPherson school board to advance bond projects, outline superintendent search
Special meeting Wednesday addresses construction plans and leadership transition
McPHERSON, Kan. — The McPherson USD 418 Board of Education will hold a special meeting at 7 p.m. Wednesday at 514 N. Main St. to begin the construction manager selection process for the district's recently approved facilities upgrades. The request for qualifications follows the March passage of a $62.5 million bond measure approved by 63.6% of voters. Board members will also enter closed executive sessions to discuss teacher contract negotiations and the search timeline to replace outgoing Superintendent Shiloh Vincent, who steps down June 30.
