McPherson School Board Sets Timeline for Superintendent Search

MCPHERSON, Kan. — The McPherson USD 418 Board of Education met in special session Thursday night to establish a timeline for searching for a new superintendent, following the recent resignation of Shiloh Vincent. Vincent, who has led the district since 2020, announced earlier this month he will step down June 30 to become executive director of the Hutchinson-based educational cooperative ESSDACK. The leadership transition comes at a pivotal time for the district, arriving just over a week after voters approved nearly $90 million in bond measures to fund a new high school academic wing and convert Eisenhower Elementary School into a middle school.
