McPherson schedules public budget sessions for early June
City Commission to deliberate financial priorities over two days
MCPHERSON — McPherson residents will have an opportunity to observe how their tax dollars are allocated during a pair of upcoming public budget sessions scheduled by the city.
The McPherson City Commission will conduct the first budget-planning meeting from 9 a.m. to noon June 1, 2026.
Commissioners will reconvene the following day, June 2, 2026, for a longer second session running from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Both meetings are open to the public, offering residents a chance to listen in as local leaders outline the city's upcoming financial priorities and spending plans.
