McPherson residents invited to weigh in on local utility operations

MCPHERSON, Kan. — McPherson residents will have an opportunity to comment on local water and electric services during a public input session at the Board of Public Utilities meeting at 3 p.m. Monday.

The board, which serves 8,944 electric customers under General Manager Josh Bedel, will also review the treasurer's report and assess departmental operations across administration, electric production and water distribution at its office at 401 W. Kansas Ave.

Following approval of routine business, the board is scheduled to meet again April 20.
