McPherson residents get look at local spending in new first-quarter report
City details municipal receipts, disbursements and program expenditures for early 2026
MCPHERSON, Kan. — McPherson taxpayers can now review how their local government managed municipal funds during the first three months of 2026 following the release Thursday of the first-quarter treasurer's report. The financial update details all municipal receipts and disbursements, including the full expenditure of a $50,000 fund for the city's Homebuyer Cash Assistance Program, which awarded $5,000 each to 10 qualified applicants. Community members can download the complete financial records through the civic alerts portal on the city's official website.
