City encourages 'Notify Me' sign-ups for water park updates and emergency notices
MCPHERSON, Kan. — McPherson residents can receive mobile updates on neighborhood emergencies and summer schedules — including the 2026 McPherson Water Park season — by subscribing to the city's "Notify Me" alert system.
City administrators are encouraging residents to use the free online portal, which sends public works notices, community event postings and safety advisories directly to subscribers' devices. The push comes ahead of the water park's planned May opening.
The city's effort aligns with broader statewide digital preparedness initiatives. The free service is available to all residents through the city's website.
