MCPHERSON, Kan. — With McPherson's 113th annual All Schools Day festivities two weeks away, organizers are urging an expected crowd of nearly 40,000 to review online maps detailing parking restrictions and traffic flow changes.

This year's "A Star Spangled Celebration"-themed festival begins with May Fete student performances May 6-7, followed by the downtown parade at 10:30 a.m. Friday, May 8, and a concluding fireworks display that evening.

Visitors are encouraged to plan their travel in advance to navigate temporary road closures around Lakeside Park, McPherson High School and the main parade route.
