McPherson Park Department offers Christmas tree recycling
Residents can drop off natural trees at Water Park for mulching through mid-January
MCPHERSON, Kan. — The McPherson Park Department is providing residents with a sustainable way to dispose of their natural Christmas trees this holiday season. Starting Dec. 25, 2025, and continuing through Jan. 15, 2026, community members can drop off their used trees at the McPherson Water Park parking lot. Officials request that all trees be free of decorations before disposal. The department will mulch the collected trees, and the resulting material will be made available for public pickup and use.
