McPherson Middle School Girls Wrestling Sweeps Dual Meets

The McPherson Middle School girls wrestling team came away with two hard-fought victories on Tuesday, Jan. 27, defeating El Dorado 55-48 and Ark City 48-47.

The Lady Bullpups were led by strong performances across the varsity lineup, with eight wrestlers finishing the night undefeated. Mckaylee Peterson, Amanda Lau, Sophie Racines, Sloan Shober, Rheamy Rierson, Kennedy Gant, Peyton File and Blake Babcock each went 2-0 on the evening. Gracelynn DeWitt added a split at 1-1, while Evah Foster went 0-2.

On the JV side, Alexis File led the way with a 2-0 record. Amanda Lau, Ingrid Diaz and Blake Babcock each picked up wins in JV action as well.
