McPherson Middle School Cross Country Hosts Home Meet
Seventh grade girls claim second place as Bullpups showcase depth across multiple divisions

McPherson Middle School cross country runners delivered strong performances at their home meet, led by several top-10 individual finishes and a second-place team showing from the seventh grade girls squad.
Finn Kramer paced the seventh grade boys with a runner-up finish, clocking 13:03 to place second behind Anthony Middle School's Milo Koehn. The eighth grade boys were led by Xavier Hartinger's ninth-place performance in 12:38, with teammates Caden Moors and Oren Klein finishing 21st and 22nd respectively to help the team secure fourth place overall.
The seventh grade girls provided the day's strongest team performance, claiming second place behind individual efforts from Reese Kramer and McKaylee Peterson. Kramer finished fourth overall with a time of 15:07, while Peterson earned ninth place in 15:37. The lone eighth grade girl competitor, Monroe Schmidt, crossed the finish line in 12th place with a time of 16:05.
