McPherson Hospital to Host Walk-In Sports Physical Night for Student Athletes
August 7 event offers convenient, affordable physicals with proceeds supporting local youth sports
McPherson Hospital will host its annual Sports Physical Night on Thursday, August 7, 2025, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the McPherson Hospital Rural Health Clinic, located at 1000 Hospital Drive, Building 3. The walk-in event offers student athletes the opportunity to complete required sports physicals without an appointment for $35, with all proceeds benefiting the McPherson High School Booster Club and McPherson Youth Football Program. Parents are reminded to complete necessary paperwork prior to arrival to help expedite the process.
The convenient evening hours allow working families to obtain required sports physicals without missing school or work, though organizers emphasize that this screening does not replace annual physical examinations or immunizations that should be obtained through a student's primary care physician.
