McPherson High School host first home basketball games Tuesday

The McPherson High School Roundhouse will welcome fans back for the first time this season on Tuesday, January 6, when the Pups host the Augusta Orioles in basketball action.

After a long wait due to flood damage repairs to the gymnasium floor, the historic venue is ready to host games once again. The matchup marks the return of home-court advantage for McPherson's basketball teams, who have been playing away from home while renovation work was completed.

The Roundhouse, known for its distinctive circular design and intimate atmosphere, has been a cornerstone of McPherson High School athletics for decades. Its absence from the schedule has been felt by players, coaches, and fans alike, making Tuesday's return all the more significant.

Varsity girls will tip off at 6 p.m., with the varsity boys game to follow.
