McPherson Fire Department Launches Annual Benefit Raffle
$20 tickets offer chance to win firearms, Yeti cooler, and Blackstone grill through October 6
McPherson, KS- The McPherson Fire Department has announced its 101st benefit raffle, featuring three high-value prizes to support the local fireman's benefit fund. Running from September 6 through October 6, 2025, the raffle offers participants a chance to win a Smith & Wesson M&P9 handgun, a Yeti Tundra cooler, or a 28-inch Blackstone grill for $20 per ticket. The drawing operates on a unique first-choice system, where the initial ticket drawn receives first selection among all three prizes.
Local businesses Treasure Chest Gun and Graber's ACE Hardware are sponsoring the fundraising effort, which supports the department's benefit fund for firefighters and their families. Winners must be able to pass a background check to claim any firearm prizes, and participants need not be present at the drawing to win. The raffle represents an ongoing community tradition that helps ensure the fire department can continue providing essential services and support to local first responders.
