Park Department crews targeted the city's golf course, industrial zones and residential neighborhoods.
MCPHERSON, Kan. — The McPherson Park Department wrapped up a two-night mosquito control effort late Tuesday, spraying pesticides across residential neighborhoods following initial treatments at the city's golf course and industrial zones. Crews conducted the operations between 8 p.m. and midnight Monday and Tuesday. To further reduce the pest population, the city also deployed Mosquito Dunks to kill larvae in standing water across public drainage areas.
