The McPherson County Community Foundation (MCCF) will open its regular and adult learning scholarship application process on November 15, 2025, offering financial assistance to graduating students and adult learners throughout McPherson County. With a February 15, 2026 deadline, eligible applicants can access the online portal through the Foundation's webpage to apply for multiple scholarship opportunities, though recipients may only receive one award based on the highest total value won. Last year, the Foundation distributed over $41,000 in financial aid from 29 scholarship funds, with varying requirements including GPA, career field interests, and educational goals.

"We see scholarships as an equalizing gift to the youth from our community," said Michelle Huddle, MCCF CEO. "This gift gives our youth a chance to develop their skills and while some may not return back to the community, the ones that do will be a part of the investment made into McPherson County." The Foundation will continue presenting scholarship details to seniors at McPherson County high schools, while Inman High School students should contact their counselor for Inman-specific opportunities. Questions about the application process should be directed to MCCF Program Associate Jessi Boughfman at Jessi@McPhersonFoundation.org. Complete information about university/college and trade/technical scholarships is available at www.mcphersonfoundation.org.
