Zoning report highlights $6 million fuel storage tank project

MCPHERSON, Kan. — McPherson County Planning, Zoning and Environment Director Jon Kinsey reported a significant boost in September zoning valuations, driven largely by a $6 million fuel oil storage tank project. The tank will be located at 2401 S. Main St., across from the CHS refinery. In total, McPherson County issued 12 zoning permits in September with a combined valuation of $7.8 million, bringing the county's year-to-date valuation to nearly $63.9 million.
