McPherson County Certifies USD 418 Bond Election Results

MCPHERSON COUNTY, Kan. — McPherson County officials formally certified the results of the Unified School District 418 special bond election after addressing election integrity concerns raised on social media. All state-mandated audits and machine tests were conducted properly, and the complaints were found to have no validity.

The special election drew a 36% voter turnout, with 3,691 ballots cast out of 10,150 eligible voters. Both propositions passed, with Proposition 1 receiving 2,341 "yes" votes to 1,330 "no" votes and Proposition 2 receiving 2,223 "yes" votes to 1,451 "no" votes.
