Students must still apply and complete the same admission process as other applicants.
The agreement follows an accelerated MBA pathway the schools announced March 31. Beginning in fall 2026, eligible McPherson undergraduates may complete up to three Wichita State MBA courses — nine graduate credit hours — while finishing their bachelor's degrees.
McPherson College launched its exercise science degree in August 2026 after receiving approval from the Higher Learning Commission. The degree, which offers emphasis areas in strength and conditioning or exercise physiology, is the undergraduate program tied to the new pathway. The college said its lab spaces in Melhorn Science Hall were upgraded with $2.1 million in congressionally directed funding secured by Sen. Jerry Moran, supporting its mission to advance rural and community health.
Wichita State describes its athletic training master's program as a two-year graduate program that combines classroom instruction, clinical education, and professional practice in health care and athletic settings.
