MCPHERSON, Kan. — Patients at McPherson Center for Health will soon have streamlined access to their medical information as the hospital transitions to a new electronic health record system, MEDITECH Expanse, on July 1. Funded in part by a $150,000 community fundraising initiative through the McPherson Healthcare Foundation, the upgrade introduces a mobile app that allows patients to message care teams directly, view test results and manage prescription refills. Hospital President and CEO Tanner Wealand urged patients to download their historical records from the outgoing MyCareCorner portal before it is permanently discontinued on July 1.
