McPherson Center for Health Opens New Menopause Clinic
Specialized care addresses growing community demand for women's midlife health services
MCPHERSON, Kan. — McPherson Center for Health has launched a dedicated menopause clinic to serve women experiencing perimenopause and menopause, responding to increased community demand highlighted by strong attendance at the recent M Factor event on January 31. The new clinic will be led by Dr. Buchanan, MD, FACOG, and Melisa Kieffer, PA-C, who plans to pursue certification through The Menopause Society in June.
The clinic addresses common symptoms including hot flashes, night sweats, sleep disturbances, mood changes, and fatigue through personalized care plans combining medical treatment and lifestyle guidance. "We've heard from many women in our community who are looking for answers, support, and personalized treatment during this stage of life," said Carol Fickes, Chief of Provider and Clinic Operations. Patients can schedule consultations by calling the patient navigator line at 620-241-7400, Option 1, with appointments available for both new and existing patients.
