McPherson C Team Volleyball Falls in Triangle Match at Circle

The McPherson C team volleyball squad faced a tough night Tuesday, falling in all three matches during tournament play at Circle High School.

The Bullpups opened against Maize, dropping a two-set match 25-21, 25-12. McPherson showed fight in the opening set, staying competitive before falling by four points.

In their second match against host Circle, the Bullpups battled through three sets, ultimately falling 25-20, 19-25, 15-12. McPherson showed resilience by bouncing back to win the second set 25-19 after dropping the opener, but couldn't maintain momentum in the decisive third set.

The final match against Maize South proved to be another three-set contest. The Bullpups nearly stole the opening set in a back-and-forth battle, falling 26-24, before dropping the next two sets 25-13 and 15-8 to conclude the evening.

Despite the losses, McPherson demonstrated competitive spirit throughout the tournament, particularly in pushing two matches to three sets and staying close in several individual sets.

The C team will look to regroup as they continue their season development.
