McPherson Bullpup Swimmers Punch Ticket to 5A-1A State Meet
Seven qualifiers set to compete at Shawnee Mission School District Aquatic Center in Lenexa
MCPHERSON, Kan. — Seven McPherson High School swimmers have qualified for the 5A-1A Boys State Swim Meet, scheduled for Friday and Saturday at the Shawnee Mission School District Aquatic Center in Lenexa. Seniors Baltazar Alonzo-Gaspar, Daniel Bowen, Manny Morales and Beckett Schuckman will represent the Bullpups alongside junior Ben Bocox and sophomores Cooper Bohme and Kurt Mendez. The state berths cap a strong season for McPherson's boys swimming program as the qualifiers look to make their mark on the state stage.
