Lindsborg seeks applicants for school resource officer
LINDSBORG, Kan. — The city of Lindsborg is seeking applicants for a full-time school resource officer position that combines law enforcement duties with school safety responsibilities. The position serves under the police chief’s supervision and is contracted by Smoky Valley School District USD 400 to protect students, staff and school facilities.

School Board Approves New Teacher Contract, Salary Increases for All Staff The Smoky Valley Board of Education unanimously ratified the 2025-26 negotiated agreement for teachers. The approval also included a corresponding percentage salary increase for all classified staff, directors, and administrators. Superintendent Heath Hogan presented the changes to the teacher
