MCPHERSON 9U SOFTBALL GOES 2-2 AT BATTLE OF THE BLING
Young pitchers combine for 19 strikeouts in Pratt tournament
McPHERSON — The McPherson softball club 9U team posted a 2-2 record at the Battle of the Bling tournament in Pratt this past weekend, showcasing strong pitching performances from three young hurlers. Hadleigh Ringer led the pitching staff with nine strikeouts over the weekend, while Hadley Biegert added seven strikeouts and Marian Long contributed three more. The trio combined for 19 total strikeouts, keeping opposing hitters off balance throughout the four-game tournament.
The young Bullpups' offense provided solid run support, plating 32 runs over the course of their four games. The balanced attack and competitive pitching performances allowed McPherson to split their games evenly, demonstrating the team's ability to compete at a high level against quality competition. The experience gained at the Battle of the Bling will serve the 9U squad well as they continue their season and work toward future tournament success
